Go With The Flow

 Outfit Info:
/Shoes - Shirt (O'Neil) - Pants (Vintage) - Sunglasses (Forever 21)/

Let's chat! Recently my patience level has been real low and every small thing is causing me to pop off. After getting my debit card information stolen, almost getting into a car accident, and having the worst anxiety attack of my life, I have come to realization that I need to dedicate a part of my summer to having alone time to reflect and think about the recent events that have took place.

During my recent days spent alone, I have started to bullet journal (something I've been meaning to start for a while now!) If you don't know what a bullet journal is, it's basically a blank canvas notebook that gives you the freedom to create and customize a planner that benefits your lifestyle. Not only does it help me organize my thoughts and ideas, but it is also a very therapeutic activity as it requires focus and creativity while decorating monthly spreads. Expect many bullet journal blog posts as I am excited to share my experience with you guys and to maybe persuade you to start your own!

With summers in Hawaii being bit extreme this time around, loose clothing has been my go to. Just simple outfits like these that look presentable and are comfortable while venturing in the hot sun are my favorite at the moment. What are your favorite fashion trends for summer 2017? Comment them down below to let me know!

Be sure to sign up for my email notifications to get notified when I post my next blog post! As I am currently in summer break, I have all the time in the world! I promise to update this damn blog at least once a week if not more. Can't wait to share my summer vacation with all of you!

Summer Booties

/Boots - Bandana - Black T-Shirt - Jeans (American Apparel) - Collared Shirt (Vintage)/

Wow it still has not hit me that I just completed my first year of college. It seems like just yesterday that I was rushing to pick out a bomb ass outfit to attend my very first class at university. (Of course I was almost late to my first class. Getting ready in a short amount of time is not my forte) But, can we talk about the fact that I ended this past semester damn strong! Taking 17 credits, while trying to balance my social life and part time job was a freaking hassle. Would I say I regret anything? HELL NO! I can proudly say that I have so many memories that I will remember for a lifetime. (The good and the bad) I like to keep in mind that bad things in life happen for a reason. Whether it be to teach us a lesson for self improvement or maybe just a wake up call to get your shit together. I cherish every stressful moment where drama has impacted my life. As time goes by and my maturity levels slowly increase, I'm beginning to settle down and discover my true self.

Now let's talk about what really matters. What I'm wearing! (duh) As we welcome summertime into our lives, we say goodbye to warm long sleeve shirts and say hello to cool, comfortable shirts. The shirt I am wearing is actually a vintage shirt that my dad has once worn during his younger days. With the pops of red and yellow within the shirt, it gives off the perfect vibes for a summer outfit. Also, to give my outfit a little something extra, I decided to pair the shirt with a red bandana to give my outfit more color. Throw on some boots and you got the best of summer and winter within one outfit. (those who say boots can't be worn in the summer can fuck off!)

The Lost Child

Some call me the lost child. By lost I mean on hiatus for almsot one whole year holy shit.

With college basically taking over my life, I spend most of my free time in bed... hitting the snooze. But, who said 15+ hour naps were ever a bad thing? (Basically NO ONE EVER!)

Speaking of relaxing, I recently purchased these extremely comfortable, white + gray pinstripe pants from American Apparel for the low price of $9! With the closure of the only American Apparel store within Oahu, buckets of fake tears rolled down my face. But, I was soonly cheered up with the biggest sale of my life. *internal screaming*

I am also ecstatic to announce my partnership with Tokyo Boy Clothing! They were kind enough to reachout to me to help promote their new online store. I'm in love with the minimalistic design and the pastel colors offered on the website! Be sure to check them out and give them your support.

Honestly, finding the time to blog is very tough (it's currently 6:00 AM and I'm watching the damn sun rise as I type this up) With that in mind, I will try my best to update as much as possible as my spring semester comes to an end. Enjoy these few pictures of my outfit and I while I jump in bed and sleep for the next 12 hours!

Unseen

When I say today was hectic, I mean insanely hectic. The summer sun's vigorous rays shining down on my damn oily face (I looked like a french fry honestly). Drinking two Starbucks drinks to cool off (although I am low-key lactose intolerant hahahaha). Scaring off a girl just to shoot these photos (sorry to whoever you are lol). A day filled with many events finally came to an end. But, being able to catch up with a close friend was worth all the hardships that today had to offer. I'm still trying to get the hang of vlogging when I actually leave my house. However, with my little shy ass still being self conscious of what people will think of me video taping myself with a camera, makes it a difficult task. Why do I still care about what people think of me? I'm not too sure. But, hoping that during my maturing stage as a high school graduate, my insecurities will slowly not bother me as much (wish me luck lmfao).

The color pink is really growing on me (surprisingly). The only colors that used to be in my closet were black, white, and blue. I used to be so boring and generic. Although I'm still boring and generic, at least I'm wearing colors! Overtime, I want to achieve making my outfits more extra and bold to be able to stand out and be myself a little more (Light ass blonde hair is a good start to standing out lmao). Let's work together on trying to use clothes and appearance as a way to voice ourselves. Being able to stop being self conscious is a goal of mine for the new school year. I believe and can achieve! (Maybe??? LOL).

The Face Shop & Kakao Friends Collaboration

The Face Shop released a collection in collaboration with Kakao Talk a while ago. (Yes, I'm very late). But, do you see this damn packaging??? How can anyone resist these products? Although these are just repackaged Face Shop original products, the Kakao Friends packaging makes it irresistible. I recently went to The Face Shop here in Hawaii to pick up a few items. (I ended up buying none of the products I was planning to buy & left with a bunch of Kakao Friend packaged items smh).

This sunscreen is AMAZING. Don't even question me when I say that this sunscreen makes your skin look flawless. Irritating acne scars? Uneven skin color? Not when you are wearing this sunscreen. With a natural tint within the formula, it gives skin a blemish free look! This sunscreen is also not heavy at all (heavy sunscreen more like kill me). With Hawaii always being so humid, waterproof sunscreen is a MUST! Also, being summer time, waterproof sunscreen will stick to your skin like glue while you're sweating like a pig. BEWARE. If you have dry skin, moisturize A LOT. This product will dry out your skin and make it look flaky.

Rate: 4/5

Don't even get me started on The Face Shop hand creams. Not only does it make your hands feel like a baby's, it also doesn't leave your hands feeling like you just shoved it into a jar of oil. I'd rather have dry freaking hands than gross slime hands. The scents are superb! (Just rub some of this hand lotion under your nose because damn.... you'll be wanting to smell these for the rest of your life). They come in green tea, cherry blossom, rose, apple, and berry scent. (THE APPLE SMELLS SO DAMN GOOD I 10/10 RECOMMEND). Although I only picked up the green tea and cherry blossom scents this time, I will be going back very soon to pick up the rest of the scents.

Rate: 5/5

Don't these look like the cutest face masks in the world??? Don't be fooled! They're actually lowkey creepy and frightening when you put them on. But, do these masks actually work? Well... they do work somewhat. I've never been a fan of cotton face masks. (Hydrogel > Cotton) Although they don't benefit your skin they way you would want them to, they do leave your skin very moisturized if you are experiencing dry skin. (I wouldn't recommend if you have oily skin unless you want to look like an oily french fry).

Rate: 2/5

The Face Shop in Hawaii was giving out free neck pillows if you spend $50 or more on any Kakao Friend products!!! LOOK AT HOW MF CUTE THIS IS. This has saved me countless times from waking up with a sore neck when I take my naps sitting up on the couch. They were also giving out Kakao Friend mouse pads with any purchase over $20 (which I got as well). But, it's very filthy right now since I've been playing more and more league since it's summer time.

Hopefully I can go back to The Face Shop and pick up the products that I regret not buying. (THE DAMN APPLE SCENTED HAND CREAM). Thank you for reading and be sure to blow your money on these products like I did!!

The Morning Star

I'm finally a god damn high school alumni! Can you hear me screaming?? Graduating high school made me realize that there's so much ahead of me. I can't wait but I can wait?? I want to go off to college and experience college parties and clubbing. But, I also want to be able to live a carefree life as a child where I'm able to go out with friends everyday and just have a good time. Holy shit so much damn anxiety just thinking about it.

The morning these photos were taken was a very special morning. You learn a lot about people when you spend 12+ hours with them throughout the night waiting for the sunrise to happen. (Damn my eye bags were darker than the night sky!!! LMFAO) Living in Hawaii is such a blessing (& a curse at times).  These photos that were captured look like freaking paintings... Too beautiful to be true. The ONE bad thing about this morning was these tourists getting in out way while we were taking pictures like okay manners??? No?????? I'm stoked for what the rest of summer has in store for me. I hope for many more wild parties and exhilarating adventures! (I want to learn how to surf??? Although I am probably really out of shape!! HAHA) Be ready for many blog updates this summer! (If you can handle my insanity)

My New Chapter

GRADUATION IS NEAR!!! I can't believe that I'm graduating from high school in just about a week. My life is such a mess at the moment. I can't even think straight. Here are some of my graduation photos that I took recently. (Don't mind my ugly hair color and roots!!!! I redid my hair literally 3 days after I took these photos...lmfao)

I STILL haven't gotten any acceptance letters from any colleges yet. (My fault for applying to all my colleges really late.......LMFAO) IF I get accepted, I plan to attend UH West Oahu during the fall semester to study international business! Hopefully later this year I can go to Japan??? I'm praying I can save enough money. Also, maybe Coachella next year??????? PLEASE?????? My friends better follow through with all of our upcoming travel plans smh. I'm scared and excited for graduation? People always tell me I'm going to miss high school and seeing all my friends. But, honestly..... will I actually? I doubt it lmfao. High school was torture and I can't wait to see what college has in store for me! (Long cram nights and 4 cups of coffee a day????) IM READY FOR YOU, LIFE!!!!!! I promise to update more often. Now that shortly I won't have to attend school anymore hehe. See you soon when I'm finally a high school graduate!
